Halcyon Fields



Today, I'm featuring a bucolic photo of my great-grandparents, E. S. and Mary Goodner.  I don't know where they are, but it sure looks like a pleasant day.

    Did they visit Southern California? It looks like Carlsbad's flower fields. I'll bet the fragrance was wonderful.

    Mary, they moved from Wichita Falls, Texas, to Southern California in the 1920s. I'm sure this picture is from the time they lived in California.
