Person-of-Mystery
Who could I be? That's the mystery! Go ahead and take a guess and then go enjoy your day. Check back tomorrow and I'll reveal the answer. The first correct post will be declared the winner.
Good job Robert, I had figured it out that he was an Confederate officer. His belt buckle helped out a lot. I was gone for a while, and when I got home I was making up a list of possible officers, and he was #5 on my list.
Wow, this game is way outta my league. I was just trying to get a look at his side arm as that might have given me a rough idea of the time frame during which this chap was making a name for hinmself.
That looks like a young Jackson
ReplyDeleteRoger, he may look like a young Jackson, but unfortunately it is not.
ReplyDeleteMaaybe J. H. Morgan
ReplyDeleteNo, not J. H. Morgan either. Although I do recognize the resemblance.
ReplyDeleteHi Nate..Today I will guess Logan Vandeveer an early Texas Ranger:)
ReplyDeleteFSOF, I'm sorry, it's not Logan Vandeveer.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is Bigfoot Wallace.
ReplyDeleteMerideth, it is not Bigfoot Wallace. The game continues.
ReplyDeleteHow about Jean Lafitte? He was a pirate we read about down in Port Lavaca, Tx.
ReplyDeleteJudi, thanks for guessing, but it is not Jean Lafitte.
ReplyDeleteIs it L H McNelly?
ReplyDeleteEllena
Ellena, it is not L. H. McNelly, but thanks for checking in. Today's Person-of-Mystery was not a Texas Ranger.
ReplyDeleteWilliam T. Anderson
ReplyDeleteaka. Bloody Bill Anderson
