Person-of-Mystery
Mystery Hint for Today: More famous later in life.
Who could I be? That's the mystery! Go ahead and take a guess and then go enjoy your day. Check back tomorrow and I'll reveal the answer. The first correct post will be declared the winner.
Mary, even though this man is wearing the uniform of a Captain, it is not Bob Keeshan. Zerelda, I can't say if this is the fellow who courted your sister, but either way you'd need a name to win.
Mary, PJM is older than he seems. I think that's one of the reasons he's so passionate about the War of Northern Aggression. I'm just kidding, I photoshopped a photo of his face onto an old portrait.
I don't think this is the answer, but he sure looks like Bob Keeshan, Capt'n Kangaroo!

ReplyDeleteCould this be Abner Doubleday?
ReplyDeleteIt looked like a Confederate uniform to me, but I couldn't find a look a like.
ReplyDeleteYou were very fast on Edith Roosevelt today Nate!
Amazing.
DAG, it is not Abner Doubleday. If it helps, the Person-of-Mystery was the first person in his state to take a driver's test Ford's Model T.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking a nice Father's Day breakfast is sounding pretty good at this point!
ReplyDeleteHow about one last wild guess,
ReplyDeleteBarney Oldfield
My guess is that is a very young Robert E. Lee.
ReplyDeleteCould that be Harvey Firestone?
ReplyDeleteDAG, I was tempted to respond with, "Who did you think this was, Barney Oldfield?" Merideth, I'm sure PJM will enjoy your guess.
ReplyDeletePretty clever to use PJM as a mystery person. You is one clever boy. A really great post. Thanks for the smile.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you ever find that photograph of PJM?
