After a one week hiatus due to camping in the forests, the contest returns with a vengeance today!
Who could I be? That's the mystery! Go ahead and take a guess and then go enjoy your day. Check back tomorrow and I'll reveal the answer. The first correct post will be declared the winner.
Gifford Pinchot
ReplyDeleteHave you ever been to the Biltmore Estate? Gorgeous property and gardens. It makes a visit to Versailles just a little less impressive.
ReplyDeleteWow, Robert! Congratulations and good job. It is indeed Gifford Pinchot!
ReplyDeleteMary, I have never been to Biltmore. Actually, I have never been to North Carolina at all. It is on my short list of places I'd like to see someday though - as is Versailles. Being a history teacher is a unique kind of torture - aware and well schooled in the world though books, but without the means to see much of it in person. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteWe were teachers & found the world (North Amer anyway) WAS available to us. Most summers we would leave the day after school let out and camp our way across the US & Canada. Our kids did clubs & sports during the school year & the summers were for roaming. Went to Europe once & no desire to return (too much still to see here), although we did send all our kids. It was good.
ReplyDeletewhere there is a will, there is a way. you "just saying" Judi?
