I am within 50 miles of this beauty (40?), this Taylor Co courthouse. What were your folks doing in Taylor Co, Ia? I went thru there about 3 weeks ago, after a wind storm the night before.
Nance, I'm unsure who the Mary is that's writing the post card. It does seem to me as though Jessie (my relative) was fond of collecting cards and probably told friends to write her when they went somewhere. I'm a little surprised that this card seems to center on the plants in front of the courthouse instead of the building itself.
