(For clarification, Nellie May Benton lived near the Burrows in Wichita and would later become Jessie Burrow's sister-in-law).

    That building doesn't look big enough to hold 34 students, plus the facilty. Plus maybe more to come.

    Did this place become Barclay College?

  2. DADD, I had not heard anything about this place before I found the post card. According to Barclay College's website, this Academy school eventually became the college. Jessie attended Friends University in Wichita and apparently there were a number of these little rural Quaker Academies.
