Person-of-Mystery
The mystery theme for today is "Famous Companions."
Who could I be? That's the mystery! Go ahead and take a guess and then go enjoy your day. Check back tomorrow and I'll reveal the answer. The first correct post will be declared the winner.
Ah! I figured his clothes looked like that era, & the pens in his pocket made me think he had a technical backround, plus the "companion" theme made me think he was probably a male counterpart to a more well known female... so lucky educated guess.
Finally, an issue that I am passionate about. I have looked for information of this caliber for the last several hours. Your site is greatly appreciated.

Could it be Clyde Tolson?
DAG, it is not Clyde Tolson, but a very good guess.
...appropriate too, as the FBI has a "missing persons" bureau, don't they?
Amelia Earhart's co pilot Fred Noonan?

Azule I do believe you are correct. This appears to be cropped from a picture of He and Amelia.
