Person-of-Mystery

Welcome to Cipher Saturday!  You've found the home of everyone's favorite weekend pastime, where a stylized photo of a somewhat famous person from history is provided for you to identify.

Additional clues may be found in the cipher below:

WHBBRE KE WZHBN
GREK KI VHAAZHB
SARZB WGZVRB H ZHBN
CLN OHNG EGTYR H ZY OHAAHB
HI EZAPGHR ZHBN ZEYRQ
GR CRWN QRZA OHNG YR
AHFRAT BKN GZEYRQ
HAA ARZVR GHY CR

So, who could I be?  That's the mystery!  Go ahead and take a guess and then go enjoy your day.  Check back tomorrow and I'll reveal the answer.  The first correct post will be declared the winner.

If you'd like to make sure that your guess is correct, enter his name into Wikipedia and this photo in its original form will be the first image.

The dark distortion on the side of the face (where no facial hair should be) is quite interesting. Scar? Shadow? I have no idea, but can't just leave "0 comments".

Judi, the distortion is just a shadow from his cheekbone. He has a moustache, but no other facial hair.

Is it Charles Earl Bowles, aka Black Bart?

Brian wins again:-) Got off track with the vowels in the cipher today and didn't get done.

Well done once again, Brian!

There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
