Bud Maytag?

Judi, all good guesses, but none of these are correct. I think you are shooting in the right time range, but perhaps just a few years too early.

FSOF, sorry, not Bud Maytag.

Congrats for answering Eli Whitney. You beat me to it.

My guess here is Conrad "Nick" Hilton Jr. One time Mr. Liz Taylor

Nate Maas said...

DAG, thanks and no, it's not Nicky Hilton.

Dick Clark

Nate Maas said...

Robert, it is not Dick Clark. Boy, people sure looked alike in this generation, didn't they?

A young Jerry Van Dyke

Nate Maas said...

Sorry, Roger, not Jerry Van Dyke.

Is it Donald Douglas?

Nate Maas said...

Mary, thanks for the guess, but it is not Donald Douglas.

I want to say Bob Cummings only to show that I'm an old geezer who remembers "Love That Bob" even though I know it's wrong.

I will guess Donald Wills Douglas, though. He's the only Boeing bigwig (tail of airplane in photo) whose younger photo comes close. Leon Atwood (B-25) is a bit full of face.
