Mystery theme for today: Dressed to kill
Sorry about yesterday. We had to get our boys to sports in the morning and then our Boy Scout Troop was participating in a Chemistry Day over at Cal Poly (the local university). I thought I could get a Person-of-Mystery ready in time, but a friend of mine telephoned needing some help at the last minute, so it just didn't come off as I intended, but without further ado, on to today's game:

Well, someone has to write something! He looks like a Circus man to me (that could be because I just finished "Water for Elephants"), but not a Ringling Brother - I didn't know there were 7 of them. I have no clue.

I have been outside gardening untyil just now, and made that quick guess.
I guess I should spell his name correct Sam Houston
Now I'm not to sure of my I.D.
I went searching for images of Sam and never found one with him wearing a tie like that one, and the hats he seemed to wear were a lot grander than your photos
I'm stumped. I was thinking Kit Carson perhaps, but couldn't find anything with him dressed that way. I'm now thinking a judge or legislator?
