Person-of-Mystery

Many of my regular readers realize the Person-of-Mystery contest found here every week was started in tribute to another of my favorite blogs, Old Picture of the Day.  Well, there was plenty of drama over there this week – a week devoted to desert bedouins turned blogging embargo.  So much drama!  I even received a letter from a worried reader asking if the contest on this site would still take place today.

Of course it will...

Who could I be?  That's the mystery!  Go ahead and take a guess and then go enjoy your day.  Check back tomorrow and I'll reveal the answer.  The first correct post will be declared the winner.

Mystery theme for the day: Wanted dead or alive.

I'll take a shot: S. Freud

Anon, I see the resemblance, but it is not Freud. Thanks for taking a crack at it though!

I'm guessing Pavlov (even though I'm pretty sure it's a bad guess).

I know this isn't right, but the best I can conjure is William Q Judge?

Lynn, thank you for the guess. I don't think it was a bad guess considering this is like the PhD version of Mystery Person. Unfortunately, it is not Pavlov.

Mary, nice use of the word conjure with William Q. Judge, but this is not Judge.

How about Judge Roy Bean

Nate Maas said...

RTD, good guess, particularly considering the theme for the day, but it is not Judge Bean.

Is it William Gaslin?

Mary, thanks for another guess, but it is not Gaslin.
