Sorry for the distortion in the image today. I was reminded about image search engines in an e-mail from one of my astute readers this week. I tested out many versions of this man's photos, but no matter what I did, I could not fool the search engine until I sufficiently clouded the image.

My first impression was that this is a photo of Leo Frank. After doing a search of images for Mr.Frank I think I am wrong. But I will offer it as my guess.

I'd like to play, Nate, but I haven't got a clue where to start looking. Perhaps, unlike someone who will not give clues, you will???
Ask and ye shall receive... Like Leo Frank, this man suffered a quick death for crimes he had been accused, but unlike Leo, he wasn't lynched.
I'm going out on a limb here and say Jesse James, or maybe Frank James
